On June 14 starting at 4 pm, the Cruising Club of America's San Francisco Station is hosting an event for Pac Cup entrants at Berkeley Yacht Club.
Weather and Tactics We'll start with a discussion of things to look for in the upcoming weather and how to apply what you may see in the weather to develop a fast, safe, and fun (and victorious?) passage to Kaneohe. Presentations will be from sailors with tens of thousands of miles behind them.
Breakouts and Mixer After the presentations (about 90 minutes), we'll break. The bar will be open and a delicious spread of Hawaiian pupus will come out to get you in the aloha spirit. A range of experienced experts from CCA and Pac Cup will be there to "talk story" and happily answer any questions or concerns you may have preparing for your race, from weather, to rigging, to provisioning.
