Seeking
A spot on a boat
Direction
SF to Hawaii

I'm looking for a fast ride to Hawaii next year! I've been sailing my entire life, including multiple offshore races, and am looking to add a race to Hawaii to my sailing resume. Happy doing just about anything on a boat, including driving, trimming, grinding, mast, and I've even ventured onto the bow a few times. I'm comfortable with Expedition, and will be navigating the 2024 Newport-Bermuda race in June. I have a current ISAF Safety at Sea certificate, and will be getting a Wilderness First Aid certificate this winter.

I'm a very positive person and a great teammate. Always happy to jump in and solve problems and work together with a group to make a boat go fast. Former Coast Guard officer and collegiate racer at the Coast Guard Academy. I bring a lot of small boat handling skills to big boat racing, with a hyper focus on boat speed, trim and weight placement. Most importantly though, I want to join a crew with mutual respect and a collaborative attitude. I don't bring an ego on board, and I don't want to sail with people who do.

Abbreviated sailing resume below, please reach out if you think I could be an asset!
