Have crossed multiple oceans in powered vessels; farthest offshore I've been in a sailboat is near-coastal. Safety at Sea certification current. Former collegiate dinghy sailor with recent experience in several keelboat classes (Etchells, Express 27, etc.) Comfortable at the helm and at most positions on the boat in most conditions. Decently handy with electrical, mechanical, plumbing.
USCG 3rd Mate unlimited tonnage license holder (in continuity)- radar, navigation of most forms (incl. celestial), basics of marine weather, damage control.
Former US Navy submarine officer, if your boat happens to be powered by a nuclear reactor then I'm your guy.
