I have been racing on keelboats in the SF Bay for several years, as well as doing offshore coastal racing on larger boats (Spinnaker Cup '24 on Landmark 43 Destin, OYRA 2026 on Trip 41 Saoirse). I am currently on sabbatical and sailing and racing 5-7 days each week. I've also started racing my own J24 and have been at the helm on my boat and other keelboats in 30 kt breeze, and crewed in up to 40 kt gusts. I have sailed at night, as well as in large swell inside and outside the gate, and am not prone to seasickness.
I completed my Safety at Sea in-person training Fall 2026 and have all my necessary gear. I am athletic and have a smaller build, so I am used to being sent out onto the bow, but I am comfortable in all positions on the boat. Personality wise, I am focused, calm and capable under stress, always looking for ways to help the team, and always happy to be sailing.
